Liaison with Early Intervention and Primary schools facilitates smooth transition to school.

Teachers have qualifications in Special Education and participate in ongoing professional development programs.

A high staff to student ratio allows intensive teaching.

All classrooms provide friendly, caring and co-operative learning environments.

Enrolment is dependent upon a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Diagnosis is made by a multi disciplinary team comprising of a psychologist, speech therapist and a paediatrician or psychiatrist.

The school believes that the best educational outcomes are achieved when the school and home work together in educational partnership.

Placement at the school is reviewed annually and individual students may be referred to other educational settings when it is felt they are able to progress equally as well with less intensive input.
